Holga
As I post this, it is December 31st 2019. I stumbled upon this series going into my archive scrolling for images I made 10 years ago. It reminds me that I really need to go out with my analogue equipment again. I bought a second hand Holga around that time (a real Chinese one, not the ones they sell in hipster packages for far too much money). I was actually my first experience with middle format roll film and I can remember I instantly wanted to buy more sophisticated equipment. But looking back at this, I just love the imperfections of the Holga, the color shifts, the accidental (yes, I admit) double exposures, the freaky colors etc. Even with all the filters and presets available, you just can't recreate this digitally... because you will always lack the excitement you experience while shooting these images.
