This series is already more than 10 years old, but I’m still happy with it. The shrimp fishermen on horseback are Unesco heritage and just great to see them at work. Even more remarkable, Oostduinkerke is the only place in the entire world, where you can see shrimp fishing on horseback. In the seventies, their numbers were so limited, this tradition looked set to dissapear. Nowadays there are 16 fishermen and they are determined to let this beautiful discipline survive.
